Message from the Rector
If you are looking for a faith community in the western suburbs, the people of All Saints Episcopal Church of Western Springs are here for you!
In our parish, you will encounter a community of open-minded and open-hearted people who are eager to welcome you to join us in fellowship, liturgy, and service to others. We believe that there is room for everyone at God’s table, and we strive to live accordingly. At All Saints, every person matters, everyone’s participation is significant, and there are no second-class members. If you would like to experience the Episcopal Church’s blend of ancient traditions and modern thinking, there is a place for you here.
The Rev. L. D. Wood-Hull, Rector
Ministry Groups
Pastoral Care
At All Saints Church our Pastoral Care team takes primary responsibility for supporting and praying for our families and members of our families during good times and during rough times.
We support our families when they go through rough patches such as illness, emotional or spiritual distress, job loss and other events. We also celebrate with members of our parish as they celebrate life events such as birthdays, anniversaries, moving to a new home and getting a new job. Our purpose is a celebration of life and the gifts we have received.

Fellowship
All Saints parishioners love to celebrate, and the fellowship committee is always ready to make that happen.
Regular gatherings are built into our church calendar. The year begins with a potluck brunch after our annual meeting in January. In April, All Saints hosts a luncheon for the ECW annual meeting. The year ends with our Advent/Christmas party a catered dinner in December followed by musical offerings. In addition, congregants are always ready to turn a work project into a social gathering by adding in a potluck lunch or dinner!

Buildings and Grounds
All Saints Episcopal Church is sacred space and a special place for our parishioners. As good stewards, the buildings and grounds committee has been diligent about keeping our facilities in great shape which is much appreciated by our parishioners, visitors, and tenants. Small efforts, such as the need for a new dishwasher or a TV mount in the Parish Hall, as well as larger repairs such as a new roof in the nave are addressed quickly because we know that deferred maintenance could lead to larger problems in the future. Our most ambitious undertaking was the construction of a new Rectory which was completed in 2023.

Faith Formation
All Saints provides high-quality, spiritual education for adults, children, and young people/teens between the two services. A mainstay of Sundays at All Saints, our lively multigenerational Faith Formation meets at 9am every Sunday.
Topics range from scripture study to end-of-life planning and ethics; from learning about our polity to discussing the day's hot theological topics. There is no preparation, pre-requisite work, or homework required, so please join as you are able.

Youth Formation
Our Mission is to provide a space where youth can 1) build caring relationships with other youth and adults, 2) build a strong faith foundation, and 3) become engaged and actively involved in our congregation. Our Vision is for our youth to apply faith to their daily decisions throughout their lives.
